Help for Your Low-Income Clients: The LIFELINE Benefit Program

LIFELINE provides a reduced rate for phone service to low-income households. The program can help provide crucial connectivity to families that would otherwise not be able to afford a mobile phone or landline. A great explanation of the program can be found at http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/landingpages/lifeline.jsp.

If you would like to add your local nonprofit organization to the Wishbook, please send us an email at wishbook@rochester.rr.com.
We will send you a form by return email asking you to provide information about your agency.

To be listed in the Wishbook, you must be a not-for-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization in the Rochester, NY, area that routinely accepts donations from the public. Your contact person must be someone who will promptly return phone calls and emails from potential donors and volunteers, and who will follow through on arrangements for pickup or delivery of items. There is no cost for inclusion in the Wishbook.
