The Arc of Monroe supports people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as a wide variety of other disabilities. The Arc of Monroe has been providing a variety of programs and services for over 1,400 people with I/DD and their families in the Rochester community for over 60 years.
· ON HOLD: Arc Tour: Learn about The Arc of Monroe by taking a tour of three of our locations, including a residential home, a day habilitation program, and our ArcWorks facility. Make a connection with people we support, and learn more about how you can help!
· ON HOLD: We are looking for businesses, organizations, families, social groups and others to “Adopt” one of our homes. We are looking for people to come in and host a party, do a craft project, give a cooking lesson, assist on recreational activities, decorate for the holidays or play music, just to mention a few ideas. We have residential group homes in the Rochester, New York area including Greece, Penfield, Fairport, East Rochester, Rochester, Pittsford.
Often times the people we support lack connections and the opportunities to make new friends in the community. The “Adopt a House” program gives them the opportunity to make those valuable connections with others as well as develop mutual friendships.
