Healthy Moms is a program for women who are pregnant and/or have a child under the age of four years old and live in Monroe County. Participants can choose services of interest and create a customized plan to help them reach their full potential as a parent and as an individual. Services include: Pregnancy education classes, breast feeding counseling, safe sleep support, mental health counseling, psychiatry services, care management services, wellness groups, leadership Academy, job training and education program, and smoking cessation. We also have a community clothing closet stocked with donated clothes for moms and families in the community to “shop” when they are in need. You do not have to be a healthy moms participant to use the clothing closet.
6/21/2020: The Children's Clothing Closet is a service provided by Healthy Mom's @Rochester Regional Health. We provide clothing items to all women in Monroe County for their children ages newborn - age 16. Call 585-368-3030 to ask for needed items. We will put items together for you and provide curbside pickup during the COVID-19 restriction. Our closet is run by volunteers who are in our Project Independence program.
We always need and welcome lightly worn children's clothing as donations.
