Heritage Christian Services touches the lives of thousands of children and adults, many in the greater Rochester and Buffalo regions. In addition to assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we provide a variety of services that foster opportunities for all people to build communities of awareness and inclusion.

Fall Cleanup: Assist with raking leaves at any of our homes in Monroe County -- a great team building or family activity for a Saturday!
A Second Thought Resale Shop: volunteer store assistants needed to sort, prepare donations, and handle transactions. Training provided.
Springdale Farm: volunteers for events held year-round to help with parking, concessions, kids' crafts, and more.
Heritage Christian Stables: leaders and side walkers to assist people with disabilities while riding a horse. No experience necessary. Training provided.
Pieters Family Life Center: sports coaches to support recreational athletic activities, including Special Olympics training.
Assist the café manager during events, including making various coffee beverages, cleaning the café area, and serving customers.
Gardening: maintain a sensory garden once a month in one of our homes in Penfield.
