Every Saturday from 9:30am to 2pm – rain, snow or shine – a dedicated team of volunteers offers health resources, a hot meal, bagged lunches, hygiene kits, blankets, and
seasonal clothing for folks living with substance use disorders, mental illness, and/or homelessness. For those we serve, these things often go hand-in-hand.

RAW also goes out into the community, to make wellness checks on those living in abandoned homes, and to distribute bagged lunches, personal care kits, Narcan, 24/7/365 emergency warmline information, and clean up used needles in "hot zones" – public spaces, parks, parking lots, and abandoned properties.

Volunteers Needed:
Recovery All Ways operates is community outreach program every Saturday from 9:30 am to 2 pm. Volunteers may opt to volunteer at the facility, serving coffee, oatmeal, bagged lunches, usually a hot meal (soup, chili), pack and provide personal care kits, receive certified Naloxone training, and provide free Narcan kits. We also have a clothing closet stocked with seasonally appropriate items; volunteers may assist our clients with picking out needed items.

For those interested in doing clean-up work, a security team guides volunteers along Joseph Ave., Clinton Ave., and the streets between during this time. The team cleans up used needles, make wellness checks and carry backpacks full of bagged lunches, hygiene kits, and Narcan. This may entail checking abandoned, unsecured locations for anyone inside needing our help and giving them anything they would like that we're carrying.

Volunteers may also prepare peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in an approved work kitchen, for Saturday lunches.
