The Cupboard serves Town of Irondequoit residents ONLY, without bias or prejudice. We provide assistance with food, toiletries, and taxable items. We sponsor an annual Back to School supply night where children K-12 receive needed school supplies. We provide food for the weekend to children in 8 elementary schools who qualify for free breakfast and lunch.  We also provide holiday baskets to households in our community and we have an amazing Special Santa program where families are adopted though our community and gifts are purchased for them. In addition, we provide assistance to the schools in Irondequoit, and the weekend backpack program to all 12 primary grades.

Sign ups for both Thanksgiving and Christmas begin in person only Saturday, October 7 from 11:15 to 12:00.
This will continue on Tuesdays and Saturdays for Irondequoit residents only.
Deadline for Thanksgiving is Saturday, November 4.
Deadline for Special Santa program is Saturday, November 11.
Deadline for Holiday Dinner is Tuesday, November 28.

In addition, we actively use the “client choice” model where our clients tell us what they need instead of receiving a generic box of food. We also have been distributing healthy choice options through our involvement with our community garden at the Vineyard and through healthy food purchases made available through grants and monetary donations.
By appointment only at 585-336-9107.

Due to the corona virus we are doing all of our distributions outdoors. Food bags are placed in the trunks so neither of us is exposing each other to the virus.

Donations accepted at 2841 Culver Road on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:00-1100 am. (We would prefer donations be made prior to 10 am. If not, the donor will please bring items to our side door so we don’t disrupt distributions.)  Please park near the handicap parking space, and we will provide a cart.
Donations may also be dropped off at the Ridge Culver Fire Department or Cooper Road Library.

Monetary donations are always welcome and may be addressed to ICC c/o Debbie Evans, PO Box 17834, Rochester, NY 14617.
