"Grace House" has 5 transitional homes in the City of Rochester that have 44 beds for people who have been recently released from incarceration and have no means of support. Grace House provides, food, clothing, hygiene products, medical linkages which provide all medical needs including mental health and prescriptions. Grace House also provides case management, parenting, mentoring, life skill classes including self government, money management and conflict resolution, job training linkages, GED prep and college readiness. This program began in the Rochester area in 2008 and averages a success rate of 75%. These men are now productive and positive citizens in our neighborhoods.

  • personal care needs: bars of soap, men’s deodorant, toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, shampoo, Kleenex

Volunteers Needed

  • Painters, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, general maintenance, landscape, trades teachers.
  • GED teachers.
  • Mentors.
