Rochester's Community Wishbook

Provides at collaborative sports program for youth ages 11-19 who live within the Rochester city limits. All Star Basketball mentors/coaches encourage basic skills and teach life principles regardless of race, gender, religion or ethnicity.  The GG-1 program provides middle school girls a space to come together and also encourages students to aspire for achievement in schools.  Performing Arts Academy has an exploratory program in the arts in a safe Christ-centered environment.  Strives to demonstrate and communicate hope, God's love in a variety of different cultural settings.

• gift cards: Wegmans, Walmart, BJ's, Hess, etc.
• laptop computers: good working condition, Windows 11
• monetary gifts (can be donated online through the website)
• sporting equipment (new or used) for basketball
• van: minivan or passenger van
• cleaning supplies: disinfectant wipes, toilet cleaning supplies, paper towels, dust mops, air fresheners, etc.
• first-aid kits
• office supplies: pens, pencils, paper clips, copy paper, Post-it notes, tape (clear, masking, packing), etc.
• restroom supplies: toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels.
• paper products: paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, plastic tableware
• arts and crafts kits and supplies: markers (all types), Sharpie markers, crayons, construction paper, colored pencils, #2 pencils
• copy paper

• Looking for adults to serve as mentors for one year. Mentors for GG-1 program and coaches/mentors for basketball. Mentors must be at least 21 years old, pass background checks, and complete formal application process. Please contact our office for more information.
• Spruce up the building in various ways (one-time volunteer day for groups or individuals).
• Grant writing.
• Building repair, painting, maintenance, etc.
